Hooray Huzzah! You're nobody til somebody loves you.. I'm lucky enough to now be represented by my "new biggest fan" (her words, I swear) Marie-Claire Westover at Lipstick of London. Very, very excited to be part of a new sister agency of the amazing Illustration Ltd.

InsideOut Exeter Spring Window
I've done large scale murals and paper props for window displays before but both together (and the drawing reversed!) was new to me...! Great fun though. The window was a new challenge and I'm really happy with how it came out.
I was inspired by the idea of creating a 'burst of spring', something to overcome all the miserable weather we've been having! The owner requested that the window celebrated easter but also looked forward to the next stages of spring. I thought a focus on blossom could really help reflect this and wanted to use light bright colours and create something cheery and beautiful to look at. InsideOut is full of bursts of colour and original pieces so I wanted to reflect that in the window. It was great to have a chance to work in 3D again too, I'm very proud of my paper daffodils and chickens!
a Really Good interview!
Some recent pieces created for an interview at the Really Good studio for a Junior Design position. I love working at home but I do miss the buzz of a busy studio atmosphere and want it back! Sadly I didn't get the job, but got excellent feedback. The company expressed a love of cake on their website, so my "edible portfolio" of cakes featuring digital prints of my work onto icing (with edible inks!) went down especially well!
A huge thankyou to Lisa of Sugar Sweet Cakes Tavistock for creating the beautiful edible portfolio for me, I couldn't have done it without you!

The Wellcome Collection at Euston - For the incurably curious!
If you missed it you missed out! Visited "Death a Self Portrait" at the Wellcome Collection on a recent visit this spring. Really interesting to compare how different countries and eras have perceived death and represented it in art. Got a few ideas for some uncharacteristically eerie work! should be spoooktacular aha hahaha....

Fanny Shorter...no seriously thats her name
Spotted these beauties available in the shop at the Wellcome Collection's exhibition on Death back in January. Amazing and beautiful fabric repeat prints from artist Fanny Shorter. She uses imagery created from sections of organs. Who would've thought organ slices could be so impressive and beautiful! Well done girl! See more of her work here
